The leaflet, flyer…

I have made a flyer that goes with the DVD.

Just print the flyers first page, and then print the second page on the back….

Fold the flyer so it will be easier to read and give along with the DVD. If you wish the DVD for Christmas please contact me ASAP, no later than 12 Dec.

I will send the DVD to you after that date as well, but dont count on that the letter comes in time for Christmas…  Maybe you are content with just sponsoring… Thats fine… Thanks a lot!

Updating the blog, pleased

Trying to make this blog as close to your heart as to your fingertips. I have today spent a few hours on going through things, clearifying etc.

I know that language is important, and I try hard to use the correct spellings etc.

I speak some Icelandic, my friends say, but I can not write it at all. I speak English but can only write some of it. Swedish gets me the balance. I speak and write some german. I only talk danish but only understand norwegian, I write neither of them. Finnish is another thing and I can only write Eei saa peitää, do not cover… Thats what it says on the electrical owens that are installed in many of the houses built in the 70´s

Be good, keep the balance…

Christmas approaching, gifts of concern

Need help finding the right Christmas gift?

well for the ones that have everything already, child or grown up I suggest a more lasting gift. A gift to a third person who really needs the sponsorship.

the letter from my friend Robert in Kenya with Teresiahs background:

“Teresiah Kihuyu, age 17yrs and in form 3. comes from a very poor family where the parents are self employed and have a small land where they grow cabbages to sell. They are 9 children in the family but only 3 of the children are in school because the parents can’t afford school fees. She was forced to stay home for about six months because of school fees. Her father’s inability was a result of a hospital bill he had to pay of the sister who had gotten an accident in school while doing an experiment in the laboratory. Despite her being sent home often she often does well in class”

If you sponsor this girl with an amount as small as 15 dollars, I will send you a DVD movie from my travelling in Kenya this year! the full amount of 15 dollars will go into the fund of sponsoring Teresiah and my contribution will be to copy the DVD and send it to you for free. My desire is both to help Teresiah, but also to spread knowledge about differences in the world. You will have a good educational time watching the film. If you wish to sponsor, but dont want the film, thats fine as well of course.

Lin, one of my readers, have got the DVD sent to her and of what I hear from her she is very pleased.

My mom has told me to write proper English on this blog and I do try, please forgive me for not writing as well as you do.

Quite hectic, but Oh what a 10 days…. I have friends down in Kenya longing for others to come, and they will show you around. Organizing both housing and transport, all safe.

Its hard to leave Kenya behind, once there, one has to bear that in mind, but thats life isnt it.

First DVD reached USA

Im happy. My friend Lin has now recieved a DVD in one piece, working on the PC. She wrote me some questions and Im pleased to have answered them. What better picture of the whole picture is not this one.
