OK using Paypal for donations

August 31, 2008

Hello readers.  Im pleased to announce that the first 20 dollars to be used for school materials at La Unica child care centre, has arrived! Im hoping to send all donations at the same time paying less for bankservices (9 dollars). I hope to be able to send the money to La Unica school account on the 10th Sep 2008

Please feel safe to donate!

Detailed info: I have a PayPal account and one ordinary bank account attached to it. The money is transfered through ordinary bankservices to one of three accounts in Kenya, belonging to trustworthy people (true friends) who know how to use a scanner (reciepts). Let me know your intentions with the money and I will make sure these are followed, through communicating with my friends in Kenya, the recievers.

You will recieve receipts scanned in Kenya, sent to me and then I can send them to you. Im just the bridge, the middle man who do this free of charge. I will pay the bankcharges from my family account, that will be my donation.

When it comes to monetary donations using “Paypal”, I only adress grown ups with 100% own family budget. Youngsters! Take care of your life, its precious! Dont waste your time on things not lasting. Your days will come when you decide everything about money yourself, be good, learn on how to taste the good side of life, live life serving others. Because their worth it.

An Honest pose

August 29, 2008

Pay it forward means…. do something for another person that this person cannot do by him/herself…. Just thankful to all the people who has helped us getting the chance of touring Iceland and off course Im impressed of the huge nice car that Im driving and posing infront of.

Im very pleased to be in this place at this time. Alot of things has happened since 1992 when we went on our honeymoon to Hveragerdi Iceland, and many of them are we to be proud of.

On the mountain top

August 29, 2008

After a good lunch below this mountain top Simon led the way up and I followed. When we had reached a good height I asked my son if he wanted to climb further. Absolutely he said. On this picture we were way up there, about 50 metres from the top, doesnot show on this picture. It was primarily loose very light small stones so the feeling of the feet moving on the surface was very literal, a bit scary at the top but worth it. The next picture is the scenary that we had. None of the girls wanted this climb, but enjoyed the sun and the snow close the car.

Capitol region scenery

August 29, 2008

All is not nature in Iceland. The capitol region consists of house as in any other bigger city. The apartments are usually private owned and the prices are very expensive. Some relatives have bought apartments to let for a round figure, as investments and sideincome, very industriuos. This view gives a glimpse of about a tenth of the urban reykjavik region.

Building sites all over the region in the summer of 2008…. All stopped starting october 2008, crisis came to surface…. too big loans…. everyone in deep debt…

This place is special to us cause this is the spot where Elsa and I stood in the snow during our honeymoon many yrs ago, taking a similar photo but with strong winter “rrauok” (strong Icelandic wind) in our faces.
