August 19, 2008Robert is online again and I am happy to reestablish contact with him again. He is a warm teacher who feels for the people, especially orphans.
There is one or two at his school that need a sponsor soon! I will let you all know about it as soon as I get more info.
When I started to sponsor a friends friends friend I felt a bit lost and dubious even. Who should I trust and who should I not trust. I have found a hand full of grown ups in Kenya by now that I can trust and vouch for.

LA Unica has quite a few. And my teacher friend Paul works since 10 yrs at the closest good High school in the area teaching geography, just like I do.

Numerous orphans that need schooling
August 14, 2008Kenya is full of orphans and kids living in meager families that need financial support in high school. This group of singing children are proud to be a part of LA Unica. Here they learn that they are all unique and that they may have a future. Schooling in Kenya is very strict and the kids have long hours including nights (homework, high school) and saturdays
